Permablitz

A permablitz is an informal gathering involving a day on which a group of at least two people come together to achieve the following:

  • create or add to edible gardens based on principles and ethics of permaculture
  • share skills related to permaculture and sustainable living
  • build community of like-minded people, and have fun!

Permablitzes are always free, public events, with free workshops and shared food.

Decentralized Nursery

Decentralized nurseries, or plant distros, are something that lots of gardeners do already, starting a few extra plants and giving them to friends and family.

We have regular nursery pop ups at local free markets. Check out our events page for upcoming pop ups.

Community Gardens

We help steward several community gardens across the valley. If you are interested in volunteering please fill out a volunteer form for information on gardening opportunities.
